MEET THE CHEF

What inspired you to become a chef?

I was inspired as a child by how my Grandma was able to cook for her entire family, and how food can bring family and friends together, whether it’s a celebration or just a special meal.

What sets the dining experience at pureocean apart from other restaurants?

It’s a unique atmosphere. The sand, the sunset, and dining under the stars with the freshest local ingredients make it a treat. We also strive for clean and creative plating and have a team that wants to give our guests a real “wow” factor.

What’s your favorite dish on the menu?

The spicy ahi tuna. There’s an explosion of flavor and an incredible balance of the best components – spice, sweetness, tartness, acidity, and fat.
